Custom Microsoft 365 Solution
The client is a lost asset management firm based in Australia. They help their clients find any unclaimed assets under their name. The portal they have built allows doing document management and performance analysis for users. But we built few custom solutions for the same client including SharePoint on-premise to Online migration, Branding of SharePoint, .Net website, and WordPress public-facing website.
Client is an asset management firm and were using SharePoint 2013 with 3 server farm and a intranet portal for their CRM. Their client data were stored in SharePoint site and SQL Server. There were custom pages that needed to be migrated to Azure websites and also the SharePoint Data to SharePoint online.
We did Gap Analysis for the features that could be migrated and features that needed custom development. Prepared a plan to do site by site migration of data from SharePoint 2013 on-premise to SharePoint Online. Permission hierarchy was modified as previous instance was not properly structured. .Net and SQL based website was created as part of custom solution to do some essential tasks that could not be added to SharePoint Online.
One major challenge in this project was syncing of data between multiple platforms and coordinating with development teams all in remote locations. Another piece was third party OCR data integration into SharePoint. The end result came out to be a great project we are proud of.
