About the project

The client sought an AI-based translation app capable of continuous translation by listening to users’ speech, a feature limited in the market. Initially, the project aimed for continuous translation, but due to hardware constraints on phones, it pivoted to a few minutes of continuous translation.

The app owner faced a genuine issue: people struggled to comprehend foreign languages during speeches, public events, workshops, or seminars. Thus, there arose a need for an app capable of continuous translation by listening to the speech.

Solution

We identified AI translation as the solution and developed an app with large language models using Flutter. We pivoted to limited translation due to hardware constraints. The final product, built on Python, Laravel, and Flutter, is available on Android and the App Store with a membership model.
