The WaterFund Intergrated Information System is a software that allows for the tracking of projects, programmes and institutional goals for the Water Sector Trust Fund. The system has been designed to allow for up-to-the minute update of all projects and programmes undertaken within the financing arm of the Water and Irrigation Ministry of Kenya
Client is a sub-contractor for the government of Kenya and was looking for Office Automation with apps for routine office tasks and also Major app for Project management, appraisal, signoff etc. Client used to do all these tasks using Excel and email exchange which is tedious and can be error prone.
Innoventix Solutions understood the entire process for all office tasks and project management steps, and suggested a hybrid solution using PowerApps/SharePoint/Power Automate which allowed them to track projects and tasks easily.
One major challenge in this project was syncing of data between multiple platforms and coordinating with development teams all in remote locations. Another piece was third party OCR data integration into SharePoint. The end result came out to be a great project we are proud of.
