The client a real estate management company were using manual forms for rental properties and for-sale properties. They needed help in taking their manual processes online and at the same time build a custom dashboard for the management personnel at the firm. We build their portal on SharePoint online and build custom forms in Infopath, custom dashboard, and finally automated notification using flow.

Problem

The client here is a medium scale business, a real estate firm serving clients in Dallas, TX. There business routine included staff to fill out lot of forms for property management, rental applications, disputes, pet applications etc. These forms were hard forms and were uploaded to SharePoint as pdfs for storage. This was client’s standard approach and required manual work with no automation.

Solution

After multiple requirement sessions with the client we realised that client is basically using SharePoint and Office 365 only for document storage. They had several departments which could be split in multiple subsite under one main company site in SharePoint. Also, managers didn’t have any dashboards to make faster business decisions.

Challenge

Workflows were set to notify proper personnel about actions they need to take on a particular form. Even managers dashboard was created to show forms status and responsible persons associated with the forms so that manager can notify their subordinates and get their tasks done. Branding was done of the entire portal to keep a familiar look with their corporate site. Training was provided to key staff members to show how the forms and the SharePoint Pages.
