This PowerApp project started as a consulting project to help the client with their existing business process and eventually we decided to build a PowerApp to help the client record patient data and help them fill out essential forms to schedule an appointment.
During Covid-19 the client was impacted as patients feared going to the clinics and they needed some framework which will allow them to do patient intake and consulting online.
We suggested to create a Tele-Med PowerApps on their existing Microsoft 365 tenant which will allow them to do the intake process, schedule appointment and consultation through the app. We learnt their entire process and its compliance. Since all healthcare data needs to be HIPAA compliant, we suggested to do it in Microsoft 365 framework only as it follows the compliances. The solution consisted of a combination of PowerApps, Power Automate flows, SharePoint and Azure web service.
Since the project was lengthy and needed to be achieved in shorter timeline it took faster decision making from our side to get it completed and help the client manage their daily routines on the cloud platform.
